Back in February, Elle and Nick, a dear friend of the company and great local photographer, headed up to London to visit a couple of the Leica stores. The purpose of the day was to show off the products, educate the new employees on the tripod and its many abilities, and to advise the teams on marketing opportunities for The Gearing Company. 

The first stop of the day was to the Leica store in Mayfair on Duke Street. Elle and Nick set up their demo kits and showed the Leica team the tripod, giving them a full run through of the tripod and any adjustments that had been made since the previous visit. After answering the team's questions, they moved onto discussing marketing strategies that Leica can implement on their side to increase awareness of The Gearing Company as well as sales - check out their website soon to see what they decided on!
After visiting the Duke Street store, they made their way to Harrods, where they met with the Leica staff on the fifth floor. Here they led a Q and A with the team, answering all of their questions on the current products, plans for the future, and any other queries. They also ran through the current tripod for the employees, especially as there were some new faces since the last time Elle had visited. It was a really worthwhile visit, with some great questions from those who really know their stuff in the photography world. 

After a long morning of discussing up and coming projects and potential new avenues to explore, Elle and Nick enjoyed a lovely lunch in the famous Franco’s to celebrate the day!
