We told you to watch this space! How lucky are our Gearing followers - two launches in two weeks! At Gearing HQ we have been working really hard on the design of a ball head for our customers. We know how great our tripod is, and wanted to make sure that we followed suit with an incredible ball head to go with it. So, after many prototypes, tweaks, trials and tribulations, we are ready to launch our ball head. 

The Gearing ball head is super lightweight, weighing in at less than 300g, but with a payload of 15kg. We wanted to give you the freedom and confidence to use any size camera and lens, knowing that it was in safe hands with the Gearing Company. We wanted to make our ball head as compatible as possible, giving everyone the opportunity to use one. Because of this, we have included an Arca Swiss adapter.

Our ball head has been designed with our users at the forefront of our minds. As we stated last week with the release of our tripod bag, we know that many of our customers are very much outdoors photographers, and therefore will have different needs to studio photographers. We have kept things as simple as possible, with one main locking knob, a numbered drag tension knob for maximum precision, and a very carefully made ball head for the smoothest movement possible.
